My mood has really picked up lately. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes. Suddenly I feel motivated to exercise, eat well, and participate in self-care.
I think the key reason for the improvement is I’m mostly working from home and I can see the light at the end of the PhD tunnel.
While my mood was low, I felt so guilty for not participating in these activities, but now I realise I should have been gentle and patient with myself.
Ah, we live and we learn.
